Trey James Ratliff, 19, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in North Kansas City, Missouri. He was born Aug. 25, 2005, in St. Joseph, son of Audrey Hornsby and Donald Ratliff.

Trey loved watching anime, his favorite being Re:Zero. He was an avid gamer and would build his own gaming computers. Trey was a delight to be around, his kindness always outshone others. He cared deeply for all of his friends, always wanting to buy everyone gifts. He loved playing role playing card games. Anything soft and comfy was his go to, you could always find him snuggled up with a blanket and a dog or cat, even though he was allergic.

Trey loved his momma and thought the world of his dad. He was fascinated by the Japanese language and had hoped to be fluent one day so he could travel to Japan. He was loved by everyone and didn’t have a mean bone in his body. He was in Boy Scouts and always dreamed of owning a pug. Trey helped his mom so much when his twin brothers were born. He loved Oliver and Wyatt, they had an unmatched bond. Trey was also a role model to his younger brother, Luke, having taught him every game he ever played. He loved playing with his siblings above all.
