Quirk, Sean 1937-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Sean Quirk, 87, a friend to many, passed away on April 24, 2025, in St. Joseph, after a life well-lived. He was born on May 7, 1937, to Thomas and Eleanor (Davis) Quirk, in Ashland, Pennsylvania.

Sean’s journey was marked by the love of the outdoors and the countless friendships he cultivated along the way. He also attended St. Joseph Cathedral Catholic Church.

Sean was known affectionately by everyone as “Uncle Sean”, a testament to his warm, sociable nature and the kinship he extended beyond his own kin.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, leaving behind his two sons, one daughter, and a host of extended family and friends who were blessed by his generous soul.

Sean’s memory will be cherished as a sweet echo of his deep love for life and the natural world. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
