Saverino Jr., Phillip 1943-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Phillip Saverino Jr., age 82, after a life richly lived, passed away at home on April 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on April 5, 1943, Phil was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip (1969) and Georgia (2007); brothers, Melvin (1961), Floyd (2003); and son, Christopher (2003).

Survivors include his wife, Linda; son, Jeff Saverino (Marnie); stepdaughter, Kim Lux (Roger); brothers, Everett Saverino, Ron Saverino (Donna), Steve Saverino (Leslie); sisters, Mimi Verhaeghe (Gary), Becky Dahl (Curt) and Angie Moates (Jay); as well as beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
