Baskins, Charles E. 1943-2025 Elwood, Kan.

ELWOOD, Kan. – Charles E. Baskins, 81, of Elwood, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Mosaic Life Care, in St. Joseph. Charles was born on Sept. 17, 1943, in Elwood, to Spencer and Joyce (Sanderson) Baskins.

He worked for Armours and Monfort companies. He was a member of the Elwood Fire Department.

Charles married Pamela Hill on Jan. 24, 2012, in Savannah, Missouri. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Additional survivors: children, Tina Baskins (Kevin), Malinda Wolfing (Rodney), Valorie Hayner (Gary), Amber Hill, Crystal Franke (Kalifornia) and Michael Hill (Kaleigh); siblings, Sue Bartley (Jack), Delila Martin and Leon Baskins; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
