Winn, Shirley A. 1936-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.
Shirley Ann Winn, 88, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at a local health care facility. She was born Nov. 13, 1936, in St. Joseph, daughter of Rosabell and Emilo Bringus. She was one of 13 children.
On, Jan. 3, 1952, she married Raymond Winn, in St. Joseph. Shirley spent most of her life dedicated to raising her children and being a homemaker. She enjoyed to travel and camping trips with her family. Shirley was a member of the former Carnegie Baptist Church and now Journey Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Winn Sr. in 2006; her parents; and her siblings.
Survivors include children, Sherry Cook, of St. Joseph, daughter, Terry Strong, of St. Joseph, Kelly (Michael) Thomas, of Topeka, Kansas, Scott Winn, of St. Joseph, Raymond Jeff Winn Jr., of Elwood, Kansas; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home with Pastor Calvin Haynes officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be follow services at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
