Jean, Patrick R. 1949-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Patrick R. Jean, 75, St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born April 13, 1949, in the American Hospital in Paris, France, to Homer W. Jean Jr. and Nicole (Bruno) Jean.

Patrick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Intelligence during the Vietnam War era.

He worked as a manager for an import/export service, then later was a delivery driver.

Patrick was an avid birdwatcher and loved all animals. He enjoyed going on bike rides, especially long-distance rides.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sister, Patricia Jean; and brother, Philippe Jean.

Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
