Jeffers Sr., Floyd W. 1953-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Floyd William Jeffers Sr., 71, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born Oct. 24, 1953, in St. Joseph, son of the late Frances and Andrew Jeffers.

He graduated from Lafayette High School, class of 1972. He worked at Pasco Steel as a welder. He enjoyed crafts, fishing, collecting beer steins, and anything Chiefs.

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Rose Jeffers; his parents; brother, Thomas Jeffers; and granddaughter, Alexia Jeffers.

He is survived by sons, Floyd (Mandy) Jeffers Jr., of Stewartsville, Missouri, and Shannon Jeffers, St. Joseph; daughter, Amber Jeffers, of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Lucas, Colby, Markos, Trenton, Hayle, Sheradin, Heaven and Colleen; great-grandchild, Payton Jeffers.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. with a Celebration of life starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home.
