Fisher, Betty 1928-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Betty Curtis Fisher, 96, of St. Joseph, passed away, March 4, 2025. Betty was born May 9, 1928, in Wichita, Kansas, to Wilbur and Ruby (McDaniels) Curtis. They moved to St. Joseph in 1944 and she was a graduate of Lafayette High School.

Betty married Truman Wilson in 1952. Together they raised a daughter and two sons. In 2001, she married Roger Fisher.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands; sister, Jeanene Curtis Coon; and daughter, Sherry Wilson.

Survivors are her two sons, Douglas Wilson (Debbie), Scott Wilson; grandchildren, Amy Robinson, Spencer Wilson, Sydney Wilson, Caleb Wilson; and three great-grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Benedictine Living Community.

Mrs. Wilson has been cremated under the direction of Heaton- Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no services. Inurnment at a later date As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
