Prothero, Darrell M. 1941-2025 Cameron, Mo.

CAMERON, Mo. – Darrell Marion Prothero, 84, passed away March 2, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 27, 1941, in Jamesport, Missouri.

Darrell graduated from Jamesport High School and worked as a grain elevator operator until retiring.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oren; and siblings, Don, Delbert, Dave, and Dorothy.

Survivors: son, Jim (Dana Michelle) Prothero; grandson, Bryce Prothero, both of Cameron, Missouri; son, Richard Anson, Chillicothe, Missouri; daughter, Frances Williams, St. Joseph; son, Bob Anson, West Virginia; daughter, Cindy (Donnie) Cook, Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be given in ℅ the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
