Hope, Lloyd W. 1946-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Lloyd Walter Hope, 78, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at his home. He was born June 1, 1946, in St. Joseph, son of the late Helen and Lloyd Hope.

He married Sharon Brady on July 3, 1981, and she survives of the home. He graduated from Lafayette High School, and worked as an Electrical Contractor for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Linda Groom; and a brother, Wayne Stanley.

He is survived by wife, Sharon Hope, of the home; daughter, Carrie Hope, of Berryton, Kansas; son, Craig (Ann) Hope, of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Cindy (Robert) Brown, of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Matt, Jake, Michelle, Jenny and Collin.

He will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
