Deiter, Lila M. 1940-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Lila Mae Deiter, 84, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care. She was born Nov. 18, 1940, in St. Joseph, daughter of the late, Louise and Ira Stout. She graduated from Lafayette High School, class of 1958.

Lila worked as a caregiver. She loved the KC Chiefs, her animals, and was a member of the Patee Park Baptist Church.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Lewis Stout.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Deiter (Tara Murphy), of Barnard, Missouri; grandchildren, Austyn and Devyn Deiter, of Maryville, Missouri; brother, William Stout, of St. Joseph; and four nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery following. Memorials are requested to the Patee Park Baptist Church.
