Fischer, Donna L. 1967-2025 Easton, Mo.

EASTON, Mo. – Donna Lynn Fischer, 57, of Easton, Missouri, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, in a St. Joseph hospital. She was born May 19, 1967, in St. Joseph, daughter of Sharon and Chuck Matt. She graduated from Benton High School and Missouri Western State University. Donna worked at Weidmaier’s Truck Stop and the Frederick Inn. She loved coon hunting, fishing, going to the White Cloud Casino, and raising beagles. She was a Christian.

Donna was preceded in death by parents, and a son, Jeremy Johnson.

Survivors include: husband, John Fischer, of the home; daughters, Ashleigh (Josh) Johnson and Nicole (Shane) Taylor, both of St. Joseph,; grandchildren, Brayden, Conner, Emily, Krew, and Kreed; brothers, Don (Christy) Hanson and James (Sarah) Hanson; sister, Leanne (Ron) Hallowell; and aunt, Janice, who was very special to her.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral services and public live stream 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home.
