Hoecker, Robert 1962-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Robert "Boe" Hoecker, 62 years old, of St. Joseph, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at his home. He was born on Dec. 13, 1962, in Seattle, Washington, to Norman and Betty Hoecker.

Boe lived in various states in his younger years due to his father's employment, including Washington, Missouri, Alabama, Florida, and Maryland. The family eventually called St. Joseph home (for the last time) in 1971.

Boe was a retired electrician and had been a member of the IBEW Local 545 (where his father had also belonged). He was also a founding member of the "Sportsmen's Club." His favorite times were spent hunting, fishing, watching football, and most of all, spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son, Cody (Anne-Marie) Hoecker, of Agency, Missouri; and grandchildren, Connor, Kennedy, and Quinn Hoecker; sisters, Carla Hoecker and Heidi Hoecker; nieces, Morgan McBane and Mariah McBane; and great-nephew, Max Zimmerman, all of St. Joseph.

Boe has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home.
