Dugger, Marilyn F. 1950-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Marilyn Francis Dugger, 74, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, surrounded by her family at Mosaic Life Care. She was born June 17, 1950, in St. Joseph, daughter of Bill and Mary Ann Toney. She graduated from Central High School, class of 1969. On May, 9, 1969, she married Donald Dugger.

Marilyn loved to cook, camp and watch the Kansas City Chiefs. She worked for the St. Joseph School District as a cook for many years and retired as a cashier for Walmart in January 2011. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon Toney.

Survivors include husband, Donald E. Dugger, of the home; their children, Donnie Martin (Toshia) Dugger and Danielle (Christian) Muff; grandchildren, Taylor and Ashlin Dugger, Brandon Rudisill and Lillian Muff, Adley Dugger; and great-grandchildren, Piper and Lee Dugger, all of St. Joseph.

Mrs. Dugger has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home. The family asks for you to wear your KC Chiefs gear to the visitation. Memorials are requested to the Friends of the Animal Shelter in Memory of Marilyn Dugger.
