Hall, Richard A. 1949-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Richard Allen Hall, 75, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, at his home. He was born Feb. 22, 1949, in St. Joseph, son of Fay and Daryl “Shorty” Hall. He worked at Snorkel as a welder. He served in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed softball, blues and jazz music.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Georgi Lewellen and Sue Sipes.

Survivors include his son, Brandon (Deanne) Hall, of Mesa, Arizona; stepdaughter, Angie (Scott) Trotter; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean (Larry) Fimple and Lisa (Dean) Moss.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. He has been cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
