ALBANY, Mo. – Judith C. (Judy) Wood, 86, of Albany, Missouri and a former resident of King City, Missouri, passed away, Dec. 19, 2024. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri March 13, 1938, she was the daughter of Leonard and Gladys (McClure) Hines.

Judith lived most of her life in King City and graduated from King City High School. She married Eugene Wood on Jan. 27, 1956. They were married 55 years when he preceded her in death in 2011.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Jeanne Nicholson and Joy Blehm; son-in-law, Dorlan Arthur; two grandsons Kenneth and Christopher Kelly.

Judith was a homemaker. On Oct. 24, 1991, she went to work at King City Manor for 13 years. In 2018, she moved to Albany to be closer to her daughter, Carroll.

Survivors: three children, Carroll Arthur, Albany, Mike and Jesse (Angie) Wood, King City; seven grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
