HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Clara Evalyn (Trump) Hirter, 79, passed away on Dec. 9, 2024, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born on Nov. 26, 1945, in Worth, Missouri, to Raymond and Mary Frances (Dannar) Trump. Clara was raised in St. Joseph where she graduated from Lafayette High School, got married and had two children. She lived and worked in St. Joseph, Alliance, Nebraska, and in Mesa, Arizona, before retiring and moving to Hot Springs. Clara had a great sense of style. She liked her lipstick on, her nails done and big jewelry. She was always fun and the life of any party.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her dear sister, Helen Ruth Verbick; and her beloved son, Jason Hirter. She truly missed those four people every single day.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Michael McCormick, of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Alexa (Connor and Benson) Gibbs, of Searcy, Arkansas; nephews, Darren (Peggy) Verbick, David (Lindsay) Verbick, of St. Joseph, and Damon (Lesa) Verbick, of Kansas City, Missouri; several great-nieces and nephews; many cousins; and many, many wonderful friends.

A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at the First United Methodist Church, in Hot Springs, with a reception that followed. A graveside service will be held in St. Joseph at a later date. The family kindly requests that you consider making a donation to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
