GLADSTONE, Mo. – Kevin L. Swink, 73, Gladstone, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024. He was born Sept. 1, 1951, in St. Joseph, to James and Thelma (Wilson) Swink. Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University, in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was an agent for 25 years for Shelter Insurance in Gladstone, and a 23-year member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, in Liberty, Missouri.
Kevin loved to fish, often taking his bass boat out on Truman Lake or Smithville Lake. He also was an avid fan of the Chiefs and Royals.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy VanReenan; grandson, Tristan Hicks; granddaughter, Jayda Burkhart (Keenan); and two great-granddaughters, Aurora and Lyla.
Graveside Farewell Services and Inurnment 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 11, Union Star Cemetery.
