Terry Michael Ashworth, 74, of St. Joseph, passed away Dec. 2, 2024. Terry was born Oct. 24, 1950, in St. Joseph, to Wayne and Frances (Smith) Ashworth.

Terry was a 1968 graduate of Central High School and attended San Diego State University. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for four years and then joined the United States Navy, retiring after 16 years of service.

Survivors include his son, Wayne Ashworth; brothers, Timothy Ashworth (Betty), Tony Ashworth, Rick Ashworth (Dee); sisters, Susan Wallace (Frank), Carol Wolfram (Mike), and Tina Roller.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Graveside services with full military honors will be Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
