Michael Brian Buczek, 60, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, in a St. Joseph hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1964, in St. Joseph, son of the late Margaret and Benjamin Buczek. He graduated from DeKalb, Missouri, High School, and worked 35 years at Nestle Purina. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, coon hunting, working and training bird dogs, and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by brothers, Greg Buczek, of Faucett, Missouri, and Kris (Kim) Buczek, of Cosby, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Erica Buczek, Konnor Buczek, and Karoline Buczek; great-nephew and niece, Yoshi and Mika Tanaka.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home, the inurnment will be at a later date at the Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb.
