She later attended Gard Business University in St. Joseph and worked for the News-Press and Gazette in the dispatch department. She married Larry Manville in 1966 and together had six children. She also enjoyed cooking, embroidery, quilting, crocheting, and visiting with family and friends. Cheryl also enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, and loved watching football.

In 1994, Cheryl’s new life began when she found salvation through Christ. She faithfully served Him and made Frazier Baptist Church her home. Her home now is with Jesus in heaven, praising Him through music.
