Donna Marie Hughes, 86, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, in St. Joseph. She was born Jan. 2, 1938, in St. Joseph, daughter of the late Olivet and Roy Butterfield.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diana L Embrey; son, Roy Lee Butterfield; grandson, David Wayne Embrey; and great-great-grandson, Kyston Dawson.

Survivors include daughter, Debra (Chris Silkwood) Dawson, of Savannah, Missouri; son, Ray (Jamie) Hughes, of St. Joseph; daughter, Tina (John) Hughes, of Springfield, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great- grandchildren.

The pallbearers will be Bryson Hughes, Kory Groce, Koby Groce, Kolten Groce, Devin Barnett, and Chandler Thomas-Hughes.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Savannah Cemetery.
