FAUCETT, Mo. – Roger Earl Powell, 73, of Faucett, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at his home in Faucett. He was born Aug. 6, 1951, in St. Joseph, son of the late Mary Lou and Robert Powell. He graduated from Stewartsville, Missouri, High School. He was the Owner Operator of Roger Powell Trucking. He enjoyed truck pulls, and drag racing.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include wife, Donna Lee Powell, of St. Joseph; stepson, Tim (Cecelia) Resler, Wathena, Kansas; stepdaughter, Tracy (Mark) Verdoorn, Platte City, Missouri; sister, Jenan (Jay) Myers; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Barnett officiating. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
