Pamela K. Brown, 65, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024.
She was born May 9, 1959, in St. Joseph, to Clifford and Leila (Bootman) Frakes. Pamela grew up in Stewartsville, Missouri, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Missouri Western State University.
Pamela married Kenneth Dean Brown on June 30, 1990. He survives of the home.
She was an excellent cook known for her chicken and noodles. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and the Chiefs, and going to estate sales. Fall and winter were her favorite seasons, and Pamela loved decorating for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Above all, Pamela was a great mother, wife, sister, and grandmother to many people. She was passionate about her family and they meant everything to her. She definitely left everyplace she went better off than she found it.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Haley Triggs; and siblings, Delmar, Richard and Jeffery Frakes.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Kenneth; children, Ashley Jonas (Ira), Evan Brown (Kaitlyn), and Reid Milbourn (Anthony); grandchildren, Dawson, Taylor, Halen, Jaxson, Sophia, Emma, Anna, and Ramsey; sister, Jody Bennett (Pennie); numerous other extended family members and friends.
Farewell Services 3 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
