Wilma Rose Ryan-Nagle, 93, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, in a Savannah, Missouri, health care center. She was born Dec. 15, 1930, in Brunswick, Missouri, daughter of the late Beatrice and Troy Routon Sr. She attended Benton High School and managed the Topsy’s popcorn store at the East Hills Mall. Wilma enjoyed nursing and taking care of the little animals in her neighborhood, and she was a really good cook.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Troy Routon Jr.; sisters, Verna Farris and Leota Robbins.

She is survived by sons, Dennis and Wesley Ryan, of St. Joseph, and daughter, Sheryl (Ronald) Kendall, of Rosendale, Missouri; grandchildren, Michelle (Shawn) Duncan-Jackson and Michael Kendall; great-grandchildren, Preston, Chantel, and Jessica; and a sister, Carol Ann (Richard) Campbell, of Neosho, Kansas.

Ms. Nagle will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
