RUSHVILLE, Mo. – Everett Milton McMillian, 83, of Rushville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at his home. He was born April 5, 1941, in Dearborn, Missouri, son of the late Ruby and Joe McMillian. He graduated from Faucett, Missouri, High School and served in the United States Air Force then the Missouri Air National Guard for 23 years, he also worked at Friskies Pet Foods retiring after 32 years of service.
He enjoyed raising livestock and his donkeys, going to auctions, and spending time around his farm and family.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe and Doug McMillian; and a sister, Sandra McMillian.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle McMillian, St. Joseph; son, Michael McMillian, De Kalb, Missouri; grandchildren, Kayley (Dylan) Morgan, Calvin McMillian, Porter Gardner, and Garrett McMillian; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Blake, Waylon, Cooper, Kinsey, and Owen; brother, Jim McMillian, Windsor, Missouri; and a sister, Emma Wood; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services and interment will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Armstrong Cemetery, Rushville.
