Jennifer J. (Proffit) Dickinson, 52, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024. She was born Nov. 14, 1971, to Gary L. and Deloris A. (Tunell) Proffit, in Maryville, Missouri.

Jennifer married Scott W. Dickinson on Nov. 7, 2018. She was a member of Renew Church.

Jennifer enjoyed spending time crafting and making unique crocheted blankets for all her close family and friends. She was known as “Grammy” by her two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvey and Erma Proffit and Nelson and Frieda Tunell.

Survivors include her husband, Scott; parents, Gary and Deloris; children, Christopher Curtis (Kailey) and Amanda Freeman (John); grandchildren, Vanessa and Layne; sister, Stephanie Schieber (Ron); numerous nieces, bonus kids and extended family.

Celebration of Life 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Renew Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Renew Church.
