Larry Miljavac, 72, of St. Joseph, passed from his earthly home to be joined with the Lord.
Larry was born on May 4, 1952, in St. Joseph, to the late John J. and Hazel (Plekan) Miljavac. He was a 1970 graduate of Christian Brothers High School.
Larry spent his career as an electrician alongside family at Miljavac Electric.
Even after retirement Larry liked to stay busy, helping his family with any project, working on his land, and putting together a fun haunted house in his basement each year for the grandkids.
Larry made his life’s goal spending quality time with family. Whether it was attending his kids’ and grandkids’ sporting events, inviting everyone over for BBQ and pool time, or taking everyone to Branson, Missouri, he was always excited to get everyone together. He made all occasions fun, loved tirelessly, and will be missed dearly.
Larry is survived by his son, Adam Miljavac (Amy); two daughters, Remi Gramlich (Brian) and Kenzie Beach (Noah); 10 grandchildren, Sydney, Makayla and Makenna Miljavac; Scarlett, Reese, Thomas and Luke Gramlich; Lucy, Olive and Hank Beach; six siblings, John (Debby), Mary Anne, Joe (Sue), Jim (LaDonna), Mike (Brenda) and Nancy (Kent) Teschner.
Mr. Miljavac has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon. Private Family Inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
