Robert “Red” Steven Haarlammert, 71, of St. Joseph, peacefully passed away on Aug. 29, 2024. He was born on Dec. 20, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Gloria and Donald Ralph Haarlammert.

Robert was preceded in death by his son, Paul Albertson; his sister, Donna Hageman; and his brothers, Larry Haarlammert and Randy Travis.

Surviving family members include his wife, Deborah Haarlammert, of the home; his brother, Darrel Haarlammert; daughter-in-law, Janean Phillippe; grandchildren, Kloey Albertson, Paul Albertson, Bryston Humphrey, and Larsyn Phillippe; and six nieces and nephews.

Robert served as a Parachute Rigger in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1977. He then worked for E&K Companies Inc. where he retired after 30 years. Despite being retired, he continued to do taping side jobs for many years out of love for the job.

Robert was an avid deer hunter. He also loved collecting rare coins and sharing military stories. He was dedicated to caring for those around him, and always put the wellbeing of others before his own.

At Robert’s request, there will be no funeral service.
