Jack Pinion, 80, St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024.

He was born July 29, 1944, in Mecca, Missouri, to Lillard and Alma (Hartman) Pinion.

Jack married Beverly Carpenter on Feb. 14, 1969.

He served in the United States Navy. He also was a past Commander of the American Legion. He also attended Eastside Baptist Church.

Jack worked as a conductor for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 22 years. He also enjoyed farming and attending farm auctions. He was always available to help the family when needed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Stella McKinnon.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; siblings, Linda and Larry Pinion; cousin, Barbara Hopkins; extended family and friends.

Graveside Farewell Services & Interment 1 p.m. Friday, Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Legion Post 359.
