Reggie Edelman, 79, St. Joseph, passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2024.

He was born July 28, 1945, in St. Joseph, to Forrest and Mavis (Wohlford) Edelman.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in English at Northwest Missouri State College, he worked in various capacities for social services in Missouri for 30 years.

Reggie enjoyed gardening, cross-stitch, and music.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jeff.

Survivors include siblings, Mary Lynn Vocelka, Ronald Edelman (Gretchen Herndon), and Jim Edelman (Shari); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, 5 to 7 p.m. at Huffman Memorial Church, 2802 Renick, in the Enrichment Center.
