SAVANNAH, Mo. – Francis P. Durbin, 82, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024.

He was born June 28, 1942, in Maryville, Missouri, to Julius and Odilia (Walter) Durbin.

Francis married Rosalie Devers on Nov. 28, 1964. She survives of the home.

He was a farmer in the Conception Junction, Missouri, area most of his life. Francis also was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer firefighter.

Francis enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene, Maurice, Robert, Gerald, Cecil, and Orville; and sisters, Mary-Rose Delaney and Thelma Runyan.

Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Rosalie; children, Steven Durbin (Penny), Chris Durbin (Susan), and Janet Lane (Andrew); grandchildren, Paige, Keaton and Slater Durbin, Amanda Bell, Anna and Zach; sisters, Odilia Wells and Elizabeth Bright; extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Savannah. Interment Conception Abbey Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
