Troy Christopher Allen Brown, 54, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, in a Kansas City hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1969, in St. Joseph. He graduated from Benton High School, and worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as a lineman. He served in the United States Navy during the Gulf War. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

Troy was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Marie Donelson; brother, Charles Donelson Jr.; stepfather, Charles Ernest Donelson Sr.

He is survived by brother, Shane (Ramona) Brown; sister, Angie Wuest; cousin, Jada Wall all of St. Joseph; father, Paul Bodde; niece, Selena Hayes; nephews, Lee Wuest, and Travis Wuest; as well as several other cousins.

Graveside memorial service 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, with U.S. Navy Military Honors. He has been cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
