Larry Don Hartell, 77, of St. Jospeh, passed away July 26, 2024.

He was born Sept. 25, 1946, to Ronald and Maude Rice (Dale) Hartell, in St. Jospeh. Larry grew up in Plattsburg, Missouri, and in 1964, he graduated from Plattsburg High School. Larry attended UMKC and later attended Seminary School.

Larry was a pharmacist for over 50 years and retired from Rogers Pharmacy, in St. Jospeh. He also served as a minister, serving several congregations in the area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Hartell; his parents, Ronald and Maude Hartell; his sister, Marylyn Dean; and his brother, Ronald D. Hartell.

Larry is survived by daughter, Lisa Hartell Holden; son, Brian Hartell; grandchildren, Steven Holden, Rachel Bodnar, and Eli Hartell; sister, Dorothy Silvius; brother, Lowell Hartell; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Grace Calvary Chapel, St. Joseph.
