LA CYGNE, Kan. – Gary Leon Boyer, 83, of La Cygne, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Avalon Health Care Dementia Unit, in Liberty, Missouri. Gary was born Sept. 13, 1940, to Wilbert and Frances (Crouse) Boyer, St. Joseph. He graduated from Easton High School, in Easton, Missouri, in 1958 and Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado, in 1962.

Gary was baptized in the Lutheran faith and is survived by his wife, Victoria; three sons, Craig (Robin), of Faucett, Missouri, Rodd (Leigh), of Gower, Missouri, and Ryan, of Leawood, Kansas; and a daughter, Regan (Jason) Jonas, of Leawood; six grandchildren, Breanna (Grant), Kyle (Amber), Natasha (Drew), Emma, Jesse (Ally), Lennon; and seven great-grandchildren, Kacin, Blayklee, Kamden, Rylie, Tinsley, Mya, and Marlee. He is also survived by his sister, Judy (Raymond) Sweiger, of Weatherby, Missouri; and numberous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.
