Sean E. Farley, 69, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024.

Sean was born on Oct. 30, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas, to the late Robert R. and Honore C. (Leven) Farley. He was a 1972 graduate of Bishop LeBlond High School, and received his B.S. in Political Science from Missouri Western State University in 1978.

Mr. Farley spent his career working for Mead Products and Prime Tanning.

Sean was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed a round of golf and playing on the Mead softball team. He was a Chiefs and Royals fan.

In addition to his parents, Sean was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Billy Green and Gary Huffman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sean is survived by his four sisters, Lynn Johnson (Phil), Kassie Harshman (Mark), Mary Beth Green and Ann Harvey (Robin); daughter, Stephanie; step-children; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that were very special to him.

Mr. Farley will be cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where a register book will be available for signing. A Rosary and Prayer Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
