Heather Renae Mace, 52, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully Monday, July 15, 2024, at her home in St. Joseph surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 16, 1972, in St. Joseph, daughter of Betty and Robert “Pete” Mace. She attended Benton High School. She loved the simple things in life: humming birds, plants, fishing, reading, and being outside. She was crazy about her “grand-babies” and enjoyed her role as their “Maw”.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Pete” Earl Mace.

She is survived by mother, Betty Mace (Jerry Logston); daughters, Audrey (Daniel) Hansen, Wathena, Kansas, and Ashley (Colton) Garton, St. Joseph; her long-time companion, Scott Davidson, of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Liam, Lyla, Lincoln, Leroy and Wyatt; siblings: Penny (Bryon) Grable, Jennifer (Dave) Trammell, Pavla Mace, Darren Mace, Rodney Mace, Robert (Regina) Mace; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
