Bessie Lucille Frisbie, 99, of St. Joseph, peacefully passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at Oakridge of Plattsburg, in Plattburg, Missouri. Bessie was born March 31, 1925, in Smithville, Missouri, to Emma and William Stubbs. She graduated from Benton High School and married George Frisbie on June 26, 1943. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, listening to Elvis, putting puzzles together and spending time with her family.

Bessie was preceded in death by husband, George Cleveland Frisbie; her parents; brothers, Robert, James Stubbs, Henry and Frank Bressman; sisters, Bertha Hershley, Maxine Montgomery, Sarah Morris; son-in-law, Mike Bonnett; granddaughter-in-law, Tina Bonnett.

Bessie is survived by daughters, Tina Engnes, of Plattsburg, Missouri, and Rhonda Bonnett, of Stewartsville, Missouri; grandchildren, Kimberly (Mark) Plummer, Heath Bonnett, Tracy (Paul) Johnson, Meghan (Mike) Stufflebean, and Adam Engnes; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Ashtin, Kendlle, Rylee, Shelby, Alex, Emily, Noah, Avery, Marin, Katie, AdamStephen, Angelina, and Kaylynn; and 12 great- great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
