Sidar A Caceres, 65, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at his home. He was born Jan. 23, 1959, in Nicaragua, son of Haydee and Alberto Caceres. He was a school teacher in Nicaragua. In 2000 Sidar moved to St. Joseph. He worked as an electrician at Lifeline Foods. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching movies, and reading, and he loved math. He was a member of Templo Cristiano Ebenezer.

Sidar was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: wife, Brigida Caceres, of the home; children, Alejandro Caceres, Rudy Caceres, Sidar M. Caceres, Ivonnett Caceres and Iveett Caceres; grandchildren, Haziel, Nicholas, Brandon, Rommel, and Engel; siblings, Oscar Caceres, Marcia Padilla, Alcira Caceres and Fabio Caceres.

Mr. Caceres has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Templo Cristiano Ebenezer with Pastor Antonio Mauricio officiating. Memorials are requested to the Templo Cristiano Ebenezer.
