Marcia Diane (Rogers) Greenwald, 85, passed away May 9, 2024. She was born in Osborn, Missouri, on Dec. 14, 1938, to Elmer and Bertha (Korneman) Rogers.
Marcia received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees at Texas Woman’s University. She had a lifelong love of Texas and made frequent trips to visit her great-nephew, Walter (Jessica) Kromholz, and great-niece, Isabelle Rogers. She never missed graduations and other important events.
She supported local theater and various community organizations, and of course loved her precious cat, Ellie.
Marcia is preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth DeWayne and Patricia.
Survivors: husband, Barry Greenwald, St. Joseph; nieces, Melissa (Scott) Collier, Huntsville, Texas, Janet (Gaylen) Frost, Winston, Missouri, Debbie (Joe) Collett, Huntsville, Texas; and nephew, Raymond (Colleen) Rogers, Gallatin, Missouri.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Wyatt Park Christian Church, St. Joseph. Visitation: 9:30 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial in Osborn Evergreen Cemetery.
