Bobby D. Burns, 77, St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024.

He was born June 6, 1947, in Grant City, Missouri, to Hassel and Vada (Vance) Burns.

Bobby married Carolyn S. Adams on Nov. 14, 1986. She preceded him in death. He later married Sherri Kratzer.

He was a laborer for Nestle-Purina for 37 years.

Bobby loved working on old cars, especially Fords. He also enjoyed “Knowledge Nights” every Saturday with his buddies in the garage.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Betty Wilson; and beloved dog, Jake.

Survivors include wife, Sherri; daughter, Sheila Hicks (Frederick); numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, David Burns, Donald Burns (Donna), Jerry Burns (Nina), Larry Burns (Robin), Bonnie Keling, and Carolyn Portell; and beloved dog, Shiloh.

Per Bobby’s wishes, there will be no services.
