Grable, Allan R. 1963-2024 Raytown, Mo.

RAYTOWN, Mo. – With heavy hearts we announce the death of Allan Ray Grable who passed away on April 13, 2024, at his home in Raytown, Missouri, at the age of 60.

Allan was born Dece. 26, 1963, in St. Joseph, to Norman and Patricia (Russell) Grable. Allan attended Central High School. He received his GED after enlisting in the U.S. Navy on Aug. 7, 1981, to March 1985, serving his country with honor. He was then transferred to the Naval Reserve. Allan worked for Sara Lee Bakery the majority of his working career. He loved his family, hunting morel mushrooms and fishing.

Allan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse Lee and Mary Corrine (Fisher) Grable; his mother, Patricia Grable; two brothers, Dennis and Mike Grable; a niece, Jessica; and nephew, Garrett Grable; and sister, Gail Grable-Armenta.

Allan married Sherrie Green on Sept. 24, 2011, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Sherrie; father, Norman (Janice) Grable; daughter, Lauren Grable-Manning (Dylan); grandson, Miles; a son, Nicholas Grable (Hunter Berten); two stepsisters, Diana Lass (Glenn) and Jennifer Fusaro. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
