Joanna Jackson Shaw, 82, St. Joseph, passed away at Carriage Square on May 4, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George C. Shaw Jr.; and brother, Edward W. Jackson, of McKinney, Texas.

Survivors include her brother, Lawrence A. Jackson, San Antonio, Texas; her children, Jill Shaw, Kim Sechrest, Jilana Shaw; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 3 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph.
