STANBERRY, Mo. – Anna A. Henggeler, 90, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed from this life on May 3, 2024, at Pine View Manor with her family at her side.

Anna was born on Jan. 10, 1934, in Stanberry. Her parents were Thomas and Nora (Zirfas) McQuinn. She married Vincent W. Henggeler on Oct. 10, 1953, at the Immaculate Conception Church, in Conception, Missouri. She retired from Easter’s pharmacy as a pharmacy technician.

Anna was a member of St. Columba Parish and St. Ann’s Alter Society. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Vincent; three sons, Stephen, Donald, and Michael Henggeler; brothers, Johnny and Leo McQuinn; sister, Margaret McQuinn; grandson, Patrick Henggeler; great- granddaughter, Waverly Henggeler.

Survivors include children: Raymond (Geneva) Henggeler, Maryville, Missouri, James (Cathy) Henggeler, Guilford, Missouri, Teresa (Greg) Stuart, Stanberry, Martin (Kimberly) Henggeler, Barnard, Missouri; daughters-in-law, Wilma Henggeler Wake, Stanberry, Marilyn Henggeler Stoll, Maryville, and Anita Henggeler, Ravenwood, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Bernita Behm, Phoenix, Arizona, Ann Marie Henggeler, Maryville, and Rose Henggeler, Clyde, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Parish and family rosary were held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2024, followed by visitation until 8 p.m. at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2024, at St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, Missouri. The burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Stanberry.

Services were under the direction of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville.

Memorials are suggested to masses at St. Columba, or to a charity to be designated by the family. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
