Phyllis June Hart, 82, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at a local health care facility. She was born Feb. 19, 1942, in St. Joseph, daughter of Virginia and Daniel Hart. She attended Benton High School. She worked at Bellas Hess and Noma Lites. Phyllis enjoyed crafting, painting and playing bingo. She loved church and the Bible.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Daniel Hart; and sister, Darlene Dye.

Survivors include sister, Patricia Thompson, of St. Joseph; nephews, Gary Dye, Terry Dye and Josh Thompson; nieces, Debbie Rhodes, Dana Thompson and Rebekah Thompson; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside Services and Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Bellemont Cemetery, in Wathena, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home.

Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
