Hall, William K. 1930-2024 Camneron, Mo.

CAMERON, Mo. – William “Bill” Keith Hall, 87, resident of Cameron, Missouri, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2024, under the care of his family and Three Rivers Hospice, at Cameron Nursing Center in Cameron.

Bill was born July 24, 1936, in Breckenridge, Missouri, the son of Ralph and Winifred (Newman) Hall. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1954. He attended Northwest Missouri State College and played freshman basketball for the Bearcats. Bill married the love of his life, Jaci Barnhart, on July 21, 1957, at the First Christian Church, in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Bill worked for over 40 years in the insurance industry. Of those 40 years, 37 years were spent with Cameron Insurance Company. He was a recipient of the Arkansas Traveler Award. Bill was very active in the community and helped pave the way for future generations. Bill was a member of the Cameron Lions Club, longtime member of the Moila Shrine Temple, he was a 50 year plus member of Vincil Lodge #62, member of York Rite of Free Masonry, Kadosh Commandery member, past President of Cameron Omega Shrine Club, past President of the 1752 Club of Missouri. Bill was also a member for 25 years with Clinco, Chairman of the Tax Increment Finance Commission (TIFF), Cameron Library Board Member, and a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church.

Bill was an avid sports fan and appreciated the friendships he had with people he knew. In 1970 he started and coached the Mini Blue Jay 5th and 6th grade football program as well as starting the 5th and 6th grade basketball tournament in Marshfield, Missouri. His greatest joy came watching his three grandchildren participate in sports and school activities. He always cherished time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Frances Hall, Doris (Yale) Druley, Jean (Francis “Biggie”) Scanlon; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Elizabeth Barnhart.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years Jaci Hall; son, Eric (Maribeth) Hall, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three grandchildren, Emily (Jake) Dawson, El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Shaeffer Hall, Tampa Florida, Alec (Shannon) Hall, Little Elm, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Madison Dawson, Lincoln Dawson, and Hudson Hall; brother, Ralph E. (Nigel) Hall, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; in-laws, Jonne and Jerry Parrish, Chillicothe, Helen Ann VanLandingham, Gladstone, Missouri, Tom and Janet Barnhart, Chillicothe, Pamela and Jim Garnett, Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the many caregivers, The Cameron United Methodist Church, and the many friends that have done various tasks for Bill and his family over the past few years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be given to Cameron United Methodist Church or Moila Shrine Childrens Hospital Transportation fund. Contributions may be left in care of Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, 222 W. 3rd St. Cameron, MO 64429.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Cameron United Methodist Church, Cameron. Visitation 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Masonic Service at 9:30 a.m.

Private inurnment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.
