Robin Gene DeSpain, 62, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at his home in St. Joseph. He was born Nov. 26, 1961, in Hutchison, Kansas, son of the late Nelda and Ronnie DeSpain. He graduated from Lafayette High School, and worked at Friskies for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and canning vegetables, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, he was their true Hero.

Robin was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include wife, Sally, of the home; sons, Nathan Clay (Lindsay) DeSpain, of Savannah, Missouri, and Kyle Gene DeSpain, of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Braxton and Audrina DeSpain, Jamie and Alexes; and his grand-dog, Zailey; siblings, Selena DeSpain, Bushnell, Florida, Ronnie “Geno” (Shannon) DeSpain Jr., of Kansas City, Missouri, Jackie Tullock, St. Joseph, and Michael (Bobbie Jo) DeSpain, of Old Hickery, Tennessee.
