Dale, Linda 1955-2024 St. Joseph, Mo.

Linda Dale, 69 of St. Joseph, passed away on April 16, 2024. Linda was born on Feb. 21, 1955, in Macon, Missouri, to the late Frank and Martha Deaton Mason. Linda graduated from South Shelby High School in 1973 and went to college to earn an art degree from Manchester College.

It was the joy of her life to be a mother of Joy Kieser (David) Freidel, of St. Joseph, and Stephanie (Jeremy) LaFollette, of Kansas City, Missouri, and her special daughter, Amy Dale, Big Lake, Minnesota. Linda had three sweet grandkids Reed, Hadley, and Jake.

Linda is survived by her beloved daughters and grandkids. She is also survived by brothers, Steve (Nora), Lincoln, Nebraska, Mark (Ann) Sullivan, Missouri, Larry (Laura) of Shelbyville, Missouri; and her sister, Ann (Jeff) Bach, of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda taught art at Stewartsville, Missouri, for four years and then Mid- Buchanan for 27 years. She loved taking care of her yard and flowers, swimming and the YMCA, and spending time with her daughters and their families.

Supporting St. Jude’s cancer work has been important to Linda. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her honor.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10 a.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
