Billy Barber, 75, St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home after a bout with cancer.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1948, to William Sr. and Carolyn R. (Lipira) Barber, in St. Joseph.

He was of Catholic faith and a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving as a loadmaster in Vietnam.

Billy enjoyed bowling, fishing and being with his friends. He will be missed so much.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Jeff and Craig, who took special care of him during this time; granddaughter, Taylor; his siblings, Diana Crawford (Rob), Tom (Kathy), Joe (Kelly), and John (Ruth).

The family would like to thank Mosaic Life Care hospice nurses for all their help.
