Michael A. Horine, 65, of St Joseph, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his home. He was born May 3, 1958, in St. Joseph, son of Patsy and Paul Horine. He graduated from Benton High School.

Mike married Theresa Prudden on Aug. 20, 2011, in St. Joseph. He was a longtime employee of the City of St. Joseph, working for the Street and Sewer Maintenance Dept. He also worked at Heitman Mattress. Mikes hobbies included woodworking and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steven and Curtis Horine.

Survivors include wife, Theresa Horine, of the home; step-son, Chris Prudden, of St. Joseph; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Horine has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
